         AWESOME BOOK BAG TUTORIAL

This is my first time in making this bag, so i used scrap material to test the pattern out. This book bag has four outside pockets and one inside. You do not have to make the lining (i didn't!) This tutorial that i used (https://sew4home.com/projects/storage-solutions/soft-and-slouchy-book-bag-goes-back-school) tells you to use rivets to attach the handle, but i just used a fancy stitch to attach it.

The buttons in the middle of the two front pockets are optional. they are just there for decoration.

The two buttons on the top of the bag that are used for closure (one is hand sewn on the back, and the other on the front) can be replaced by adding a zipper to the bag. Here is a link for sewing on a zipper.
